Henley Women’s Regatta 2022

Women’s Head of the River Race
Sudbury Rowing Club ladies had a crew competing at the Women’s Head of the River Race in London at the weekend.
Norwich Head 2022
Members from Sudbury Rowing Club travelled to Norwich to compete in the Norwich Head. The conditions on the River Yare were sunny and breezy and the water was choppy in places.
Fours Head Of the River Awards Evening
Members from Sudbury Rowing Club attended the Fours Head Of the River awards evening this week held at Thames Rowing Club, London.
Bedford Eights & Fours Head
Conditions were cold and very wet but the crews rowed well and five out of nine came home with silverware.

Portugal Rowing Tour
Three members of Sudbury Rowing Club journeyed to Portugal in mid August to take part in the Portugal Rowing Tour, hosted by Ginásio Figueirense Rowing Club, and joining other participants from the Netherlands, Germany, France, Ireland, UK and Portugal.
World Rowing Tour (2019)

British Rowing Junior Champs
The biggest ever British Rowing Junior Championships was held over the weekend of 19-21 July at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham.

The 29th June saw Sudbury Juniors competing at the Peterborough City Rowing Club Junior Championships.
HWR & St Ives Regatta
It was a very busy & successful weekend (22-23 June) for Sudbury Rowing Club, with competitors rowing at both St Ives and Henley Women’s Regattas.

The Women’s Double Scull of Bev Goodchild (Ipswich RC) and Jen Titterington (Sudbury RC) qualified this week to compete in the Stonor Challenge Trophy at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta next week.
