St Ives Regatta 2022
Several crews from Sudbury Rowing Club competed at St.Ives Regatta in Cambridgeshire. Preparations were thrown into turmoil when two members were unable to race due to ill-health. After some last-minute rearrangements and substitutions most of the races went ahead.
Tracy Muir and Tim Wallace won the ‘Mixed Masters F double sculls’ event, despite never have been in a boat together before.
Max Johns and Dhanajay Senthil won Open Junior 16 double sculls. They were a year younger than their opposition and this was their first ever win. Tremendous!
There were also wins for Lydia Brown and Tim Wallace (Mixed double sculls), Tracy Muir and Teresa Moriarty (Women’s Masters D double sculls), Jess Wilby (Women’s Junior 17 single sculls) also her debut win in a single scull and Mike Arnott (Open Masters H single sculls).
