Several Sudbury crews competed over the British Masters weekend in Nottingham. The event proved to be eventful, particularly due to the weather conditions.
As British Rowing reported: “Meteorologically, the day couldn’t have been more varied at the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont Country Park. Bookended by blue skies, there were also several torrential downpours. And the saying ‘lightning never strikes twice’ was proved wrong when thunderstorms forced racing to be suspended on two occasions“.
Despite the challenging weather, Sudbury crews achieved some excellent results.

- Op Int 65+ 2×: Jeremy M and Sean M finished second in the final with a time of 4:41.
