Head of the River
On Saturday 27th March the Mens crew of David Bull, Sam Hogsbjerg, Louie Watson, Paul Sant, Paul Adams, Lee Adams, Charles Howard and Rob Frost, coxed by Holly Adams took on the might of the Head of the River. The boat race course but from Mortlake to Putney 4.25 miles.
The crew started 268 out of 400 and finished in a respectable 232nd in a time of 19.30 minutes.
The Thames was relatively calm and conditions pretty good so all in all pleasing result and something to build on for next year.

Lea Regatta
Sunday 25th April - the first regatta of the season and Sudbury took some of their junior crews and novice mens crew off to Lea. The day ended with 3 wins - George Cook and Ellie Adams with a strong win in the J13 double against the Lea crew.

Veterans’ Head of the River Race
Sudbury Rowing Club competed in the Masters Head of the River Race on the Thames, racing from Mortlake to Putney, just over four miles.
