Adaptive Rowing

Rowing is now possible for many people with disabilities.

This involves the use of boats adapted for the user and in 2008 adaptive rowers competed in the Paralympic Games for the first time.

At Sudbury, thanks to our generous sponsors, we have two single stable sculling boats with equipment for adaptive rowing and are developing coaching schemes for both recreation and racing.

We plan to extend our programme so if you would like to join us as a rower, volunteer helper or sponsor please contact us via the contact section of our website.
